6 Dumri Coal Block  MOC/NA  Dumri Coal Mine, located in the State of Jharkhand, was vested to M/s Hidnalco through E-auction conducted by the Ministry of Coal, GoI, in 2015 and subsequently the Nominated Authority, MoC, Govt. of India issued the Vesting Order in favour of Hindalco Industries Limited vide Order no.104/24/2015/NA. dated 22-04-2015. The Mine was auctioned in the category of Schedule III Mines with EC and FC stage I already granted to the Prior Allotee of the Block. The prior allotee has also purchased and mutated 410 acres of non forest private land for the purchase of transfer as compensatory afforestation land to Forest Dept for getting stage II FC. The Mine is planned for opening by 22nd Dec 2018 as per the CMPDA signed for getting the vesting order of the Mine. 120

11 Amelia Coal Mine  MOC/NA  Amelia Coal Mine is located at Singrauli Distt. of MP State. It is in Main Basin of Singrauli Coal Field. Prior allottee is MP State Mining corporation Ltd, MP. The Mine has been re-allotted to THDCIL vide allotted order no. F. No.103/11/2016-NA Dtd.17.01.2017. The end use plant is Khurja STPP(2x660MW), Khurja, Bulandshahar, UP. As per approved Mine plan, total extractable coal reserve is 277.23 Million Ton. PRC is 7.0 OC & 1.4 UG. As per schedule, opening permission is to be granted in Sept. 2020. 13 Gare Palma IV/4 Coal Mine  MOC/NA  Gare Palma IV/4 Coal Mine, Raigarh, Chattisgarh Gare area is located in Mand Raigarh coalfield and is a large area containing about 3000 million tonnes of coal as per GSI estimate. This area has been divided into 4 sectors viz. I to IV. Sector IV has further been sub-divided into 8 sub-blocks namely IV/1 to IV/8. Gare Palma IV/4 coal blocks was earlier allotted to M/s Jayswal Neco India Limited (JNIL) for captive coal mining. Honourable Supreme Court vide judgment dated 25th August 2014 read with its order dated 24th September 2014 cancelled the allotments of 204 coal blocks including Gare Palma IV/4. In pursuance of the provisions of The Coal Mines (Special Provisions) Second Ordinance 2014, these coal mines were earmarked for non-regulated sector and was put on E-auction by the union government, in which M/S Hindalco Industries Limited emerged as the successful bidder. Accordingly, this coal mine has been vested with M/S Hindalco Industries Limited w.e.f 1st April 2015, vide vesting order no. 104/16/2015/NA dated 23rd March 2015. Subsequently, the block boundary of Gare Palma IV/4 coal mine was revised vide F. No. 104/28/2015/NA dated 13th October 2015 of Nominated Authority, Ministry of Coal, Government of India and certified by CMPDIL vide letter no. CMPDI/BD/C(886-A)/E-175692/I-4079 dated 3rd July 2018. Post certification of block boundary by CMPDIL, area of Gare Palma IV/4 is 885.525 ha. Location and Accessibility Gare Palma IV/4 coal mine is in Gare area of Mand Raigarh Coalfield (south-eastern part) falls under the administrative control of Tamnar Tehsil, Raigarh district in Chhattisgarh. The relevant Topo sheets are 64 N/8 & 12. Gare Palma IV/4 Block is connected to Raigarh, the district headquarters by road. The block is situated at a distance of 55 km from Raigarh. Raigarh is the nearest Railhead on the Howrah Mumbai line of South East Central Railway. Raipur is the nearest airport to the coal mine, which is situated around 330 km from the project site and connected by all-weather road. As per vesting order, coal from this coal mine will be used for captive consumption in the end use plant in Aditya & Hirakud. The Net Geological Reserves (post exploration) is 65 MT. Method of Current Working Coal Production is being done since June, 2006 in Gare Palma IV/4. After re-allocation, due to delay in obtaining required permissions, production was restarted from Gare Palma IV/4 from December 2015. The mines achieved Peak Rated Production of 1MTPA in FY 2016-17. Underground- Drilling Blasting in Bord & pillar method with LHD and evacuation by Belt Conveyor. Open cast- Drilling Blasting/ Shovel Dumper combination/ Ripper Dozer/Surface Miner. 5.5 MT of reserves have been extracted till 31st March 2018 from this mine since inception. 162.23

OCP  Coal India Limited  This railway project intents to handle loading & dispatch of projected production of coal from Sonepur Bazari Comb. OCP. M/S RITES has been engaged as consultant & supervisor as per MOU with CIL. The entire cost of the project is to be borne by ECL within overall capital of Sonepur Bazari Comb. OC “ongoing” coal project. It involves construction of rail line of about 6.5 km (route length) with total track lying of 17.1 km. The alignment of the proposed siding has been planned with “Y” connection to provide entry & exit from both Pandaveswar as well as Andal end. In the loading terminal two separate loading SILO have been provided connecting the pre-loading & post-loading lines for simultaneous loading of two rakes. However, as per latest decision, proposal for construction of SILO is to be replaced with two nos of 500T surge hoppers with rapid loading system. A full length wharf-wall siding is also being constructed (at Chainage 4 Km) from where coal will dispatched through this rail infrastructure. 108.15
53 Gare Pelma Sector-III Coal Block  MOC/NA  The MoC Govt of India vide letter No 103/23/2015/NA dtd 24.03.2015 allotted the GP-III coal block in Dist. Raigarh to CSPGCL. The earlier allottee was GoaIDC. 66 BARJORA(NORTH) COAL MINE  MOC/NA  Barjora (North) Coal Mine which was previously held by M/s DVC Emta Coal Mines Limited, was under operation and mining activity was going on till its de-allocation by the order of Hon’ble Supreme Court of India in September,2014. Nominated Authority, Ministry of Coal(MoC), Govt. of India, conducted the allotment process of the de-allocated coal mines under schedule I as per the provisions of the Coal Mines (Special Provisions) , Second Ordinance ,2014 and the Coal Mines (Special Provisions) Rules 2014 and allotted the Barjora (North) Coal Mine to The West Bengal Power Development Corporation Limited(WBPDCL) vide Order No. 103/7/2015 /NA dated 31.03.2015.Hence from 00:00 hours of 01.04.2015, WBPDCL became the owner of the mine. The Barjora (North) coal mine in Barjora Coal field lies between latitudes 23° 25’ 55’’N and 23° 27’ 42’’N and Longitudes 87° 13’ 48’’E and 87° 15’ 36’’E and falls within the administrative jurisdiction of Barjora Police Station in the Bankura district of West Bengal. The area is covered by the survey of India Topo Sheet No. 73M/3 and 73M/7 on R.F.1:50,000. The nearest Railway station from Barjora Coal field is Durgapur at a distance of about 30 Km, located on the Howrah-Delhi Main line of Eastern Railway. Barjora block is connected to Durgapur by a metal road via Durgapur Barrage. An all-weather metalled road connecting Barjora (lying on the Durgapur-Bankura Highway) and Saltora passes almost along the North-Eastern boundary of the Barjora coal field. Barjora North Open Cast Coal Mine has a Quarry Excavation Area of 663 Ha, total Project Area 927.5 Ha and 336.4 Ha of forest land needs to be diverted. 385.15

The coal mine was earmarked for non-regulated sector in the recently concluded coal block auction by Ministry of Coal, Government of India. Prior to the coal block auction, the coal mine was allocated to M/s Nilachal Iron & Power Ltd (NIPL) and M/s Bajrang Ispat (P) Ltd. The present proposal for expansion of Mine-I (Lease Area) and Mine-IA (3.0 MTPA 7.0 MTPA) is to feed NNTPS of higher capacity, besides to cater to the existing supply to TPS-I Expansion and to ST-CMS, the IPP. The reserves of Mine-I is proposed to be increased by annexing two blocks (H&I) located at the west of the existing Mine-I while the reserves in Mine-IA is proposed to be increased on the western side below the outside dump area and also annexing the areas on the eastern and north eastern sides of existing Mine-IA. The reserves available in Mine-I may not be sufficient to meet the fuel requirement for the balance life of TPS-I Expansion and NNTPS for the next 25 years and the shortfall will be met out of the surplus lignite available from Mine-IA. 1458.17

98 Restructuring of Mine-I and Expansion of Mine-IA  Neyveli Lignite Corporation  The project proposal is for Restructuring of Mine-I and Expansion of Mine-IA. As suggested by EAC, Mine-I capacity will be maintained at 10.50 MTPA. Mine-IA will be expanded from 3.0 to 7.0 MTPA. At present, Mine-I caters the fuel need of TPS-I (600 MW) and TPS-I Expansion (420 MW). Mine-IA caters the fuel need of TAQA (250 MW – IPP) and for higher PLF operation of NLC Power plants. The above proposal is for meeting fuel requirement of Neyveli New Thermal Power Station (NNTPS) (1000 MW) which is under construction. TPS-I (600MW)will be withdrawn in stages oncommissioning of NNTPS – 1000 MW 1458.17
99 Tikak OCP  Coal India Limited  The project is an existing mine under operation from 1982, based on the project report prepared by CMPDIL in 1978 called Baragolai Hill Top OCP, with a total mineable reserve of 8.166 MT. Environment Clearance for 0.2 MT was approved in 1995. The project falls within 4 sq. mile mining lease and Namdang coal grant vested with Coal India from Nationalization Act.The project has applied for renewal of forestry clearance for 98.59 Ha for life up to 2023. 12
